Allicin extract is defined as an organosulfur compound that is obtained from garlic. Garlic cloves (Allium sativum), a species in the Alliaceae plant family, actually produce more allicin via enzymatic reactions when the plant is attacked or injured.
This compound is formed after the enzyme alliinase converts alliin to allicin garlic extract. Allicin powder of insoluble 25% 30%, a complex allicin powder is highly effective in antibiotic, bacteriostasis and sterilization.

Allicin Extract Benefits:
1.Antimicrobial
The antimicrobial effect of allicin extract is due to its chemical reaction with thiol groups of various enzymes. The phytochemical inhibits bacteria and viruses, but also yeasts such as candida. By its antimicrobial activity, allicin may be an effective therapeutic candidate to promote ulcer healing. In vitro-studies have demonstrated the antimicrobial activity against various pathogens, such as Helicobacter pylori, Staphylococcus aureaus, Escherichia coli and Lancefield group B streptococci.
2.Anticancer
In vitro studies show that raw garlic allicin inhibits the invasion and metastasis of human colon carcinoma cells. The phytochemical also exhibits antigenotoxic action. But the anticancer effect of allicin in humans remains uncertain, because of its low stability and poor bioavailability.
3.Heart health
Allicin garlic extract has been suggested to improve heart health by lowering blood pressure, but scientific studies have provided conflicting results. One study showed that the protective role of allicin against atherosclerosis, is not only the direct result of its antioxidant activity but also of other mechanisms, such as lipoprotein modification, inhibition of LDL uptake and degradation by macrophages.
Allicin Extract Application:
1.Applied in food field, it is mainly as a functional food additives used in cookie, bread, meat products and so on;
2.Applied in health product field, it is often made into capsule to lower blood pressure and blood-fat;
3.Applied in pharmaveutical field, it is mainly used in treating bacterial infection, gastroenteritis and cardiovascular diseases;
4.Applied in feed additive field, it is mainly used in feed additive for protecting the poultry, livestock and fishes against the disease.
